The Annual Frankley Picnic at Ngamotu Beach
Last week Tūhono and the rest of Frankley School descended upon Ngamotu Beach for the Annual Beach Picnic. The weather looked a bit dodgy but we were all quite happy in the end with an overcast, warm but not windy day. It was such a lovely day to have after all our wonderful STIN interviews. Mrs Cribb and Mrs T enjoyed mixing with our students and parents outside of the classroom and it was great to see everyone playing together so co-operatively. A quick dip in the water was a highlight too and maybe the juicies and sherbet at lunchtime. Check out some of the action below. What was your favourite part of the day? Do you have any suggestions for next year for what activities we could do at the beach?

I so loved seeing you all surfing in the surf (amazeballs that there were some waves - yay). The weather was kind to us, the bus company was kind to us by letting us know what had been left on the bus (Kahanui you were so great at coping with not having your togs and thanks to the kind young lady who lent you some later).......$240 raised from our Juicies and sherbet sales......lovely to have the coffee cart there.....what great sand creations....can't wait to continue some more adventures together.
ReplyDeleteSorry I couldn't be there to see all the fun...what a great amount you all raised towards camp😀
